Navigating the Fray: Inclusivity in the Feeding Support Dialogue

Description: As healthcare professionals, we support parents in feeding inclusively; encouraging and enabling them to meet their goals while protecting their well-being and honoring their choices. We know firsthand that every feeding journey looks different; many families rely on a combination of methods including feeding with infant formula and look to us for support in navigating these decisions. So how can healthcare professionals be inclusive and supportive in their communication while still providing accurate, evidence-based information?

During this session, we will hear from feeding support professionals on what it means to honor parents' needs and wants for their feeding journey while communicating effectively. We will discuss mistakes made, and patient feedback, and join in discussions around patient cases. 

Upon Completion:  Registered Nurses can claim 1.0 CE.
